And I too...I also know Marcus and the work he does. And I too have witnessed the generosity of his spirit matched by the gratitude of the children and families he helps. Several months ago a group of us "Gingos" played in a Volleyball game that Marcos had organized (Marcos was a coach in New York for thirty years). It was a wonderful day, and the kids were simply estatic to have us at their school. There's not much else to say that this video doesn't already say with spirited pictures that tell a story of hope and inspiration. And my hope is that everyone who sees it will help Marcos in however way they can.Jim in Medellinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16949013516095891742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2322093716390101450.post-8976737163324937922010-11-18T21:11:49.848-05:002010-11-18T21:11:49.848-05:00I have known Mark since I moved to Medellin from t...I have known Mark since I moved to Medellin from the States, and I have seen the work he does at the School. I was fortunate enough to attend and help out at the Christmas Party last year and I couldn't believe the smiles on the childrens faces when they recieved their Christmas present. For some of these children it was their first present ever and it showed. These children are also extremely happy when someone gives them an apple or an orange. The little things we take for granted every day means so much to these families and children. I was also at the School the day the computers arrived and were set up. I have never seen so many wide open mouths in awe at the sight of the new computers. The children were in a happy shock. It was so cute. What Mark does is nothing less than miraculous, and he lives to make life a little easier for those who are not as fortunate.machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14649922080072642745noreply@blogger.com
